Metal quotes go wrong when they are guessed from a photo. A gate opening that is 40 mm out of square, a deck that needs blocking before a railing can be anchored, a stair that has to clear a beam — none of that shows up until someone stands in front of it with a tape. So we come out first, at no charge, and quote from what is actually there.

What happens on the visit

We measure the opening or the run, check what we are fixing into, talk through infill and finish options, and flag anything that will need engineering or a permit. Usually 30 to 45 minutes. You get the written quote afterwards, itemised, with the fabrication and the installation shown separately.

What helps us quote faster

Photos of the space from a few angles, a rough measurement, and any drawings you already have — architectural, structural or a contractor’s sketch. If you have a colour or a reference image in mind, send that too. None of it is required.
