The shop is a working fabrication floor, so give us a call before dropping by and we will make sure someone is free to talk.
What to Send for a Quote
The fastest way to a real number is a few photographs and a dimension. Specifically:
- Photographs of the actual item or the space — and for a repair, a close photograph of the failure itself.
- A wider shot showing where it is and how we would reach it. Access decides more costs than people expect.
- An approximate dimension — a run length, an opening width, a floor-to-floor height. It does not need to be precise; we measure on site.
- Any drawings, engineering, condition reports or specifications you already hold, including a depreciation report item if that is what started this.
- What the building requires, if it is a strata or commercial property — hot-work permits, access rules, working hours.
- A reference image if you are after a particular look. This is worth more than any description.
You can attach files to the form, or email them to sales@trussmetal.com if they are large.
What Happens Next
We read it, and if anything is unclear we call rather than guess. If the job needs a site visit — most do — we arrange one. The consultation is free and in person: we measure, look at what the piece is fixing into, check access, and talk through options and budget before you commit to anything.
We do not publish a response-time promise, because we would rather meet a real one. If something is urgent, say so in the message and we will tell you honestly whether we can get to it and when.
What We Take On
New fabrication and repairs, residential and commercial, one-off pieces and site packages: railings and guardrails, gates and fencing, stairs, canopies, site furnishings, parkade protection, storage cages, equipment screens, roof access, fireplace surrounds and interior furniture — plus on-site welding and repairs to metalwork already installed.
