This policy explains what TrussMetal collects when you use trussmetal.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to this website only. Last updated 6 August 2026.

What we collect

When you submit the quote form or email us, we collect the details you choose to give us — typically your name, email address, phone number, project location and a description of the work, plus any photos or drawings you attach. We do not ask for payment details through this website.

Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested. These are generated automatically by the hosting platform and are used for security and troubleshooting.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry details for one purpose: to respond to you, prepare a quote and carry out work you ask us to do. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

Your details are stored on our website host and in our business email. We share them with a third party only where it is necessary to do the work you have asked for — for example an engineer, a powder coater or a supplier — and only the part of the information they need.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to two years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Records relating to completed work are kept as long as required for warranty, insurance and tax purposes.

Cookies

This site sets cookies needed to make it work, including a caching cookie and, if you are logged in, a WordPress session cookie. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still function.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email sales@trussmetal.com and we will respond.
