Sapphire 09 Corten Pyramid Fire Pit

Sapphire 09 is a pyramid the traditional way up, broad at the base and drawing in toward the flame bed, executed in Corten weathering steel. The heavy taper and russet patina give it the presence of a landscape object cut from a single mass.

Materials and fabrication

The Sapphire 09 Corten Pyramid Fire Pit is fabricated from Corten weathering steel, which is left to develop its protective russet patina over time. Each piece is cut and welded to order in our North Vancouver shop, and the natural variation of the patina means no two are exactly alike.
