Common stainless repairs
Most stainless failures we see are cracked welds, broken or wobbly legs and frames, mounts that have torn away, and damaged corners and edges. Depending on the piece, that means re-welding a seam or joint, replacing a leg or a section, reinforcing a frame that flexes, or re-securing a fitting that has come loose. Where a part is bent, we straighten it where the material allows.
Working with stainless
Stainless is not just steel that does not rust — it discolours at the heat-affected zone and needs the right cleaning afterwards if it is going to stay looking like stainless and stay easy to keep clean. We weld it with the appropriate process and finish the repair with food-service surfaces in mind, so the piece goes back to work looking right and wiping down cleanly.
Keeping downtime short
A kitchen cannot work around a broken table for long, so tell us your timing when you enquire and we will let you know honestly what is realistic and work to it. Small, clean stainless repairs are often quick once the piece is in front of us.
