Sapphire 19 is the round drum in Corten weathering steel, gently tapered toward the base. The patinated surface wraps the cylinder in warm russet tones, giving a softer, more organic object that settles into gardens and natural terraces.

Materials and fabrication

The Sapphire 19 Round Corten Fire Pit is fabricated from Corten weathering steel, which is left to develop its protective russet patina over time. Each piece is cut and welded to order in our North Vancouver shop, and the natural variation of the patina means no two are exactly alike.
