TrussMetal fabricates welded aluminum equipment stands for heat-pump installations. There are two standard sizes, both 8″ high, and we also build stands to custom dimensions. Each stand is a welded frame of 6061-T6 aluminum square tube on four legs, with an anchor clip at each leg. They are fabricated in our North Vancouver shop.

Construction

• Material: 6061-T6 aluminum.
• Frame: 1 1/4″ × 1 1/4″ × 1/8″ aluminum square tube, welded.
• Legs: four legs, approximately 6 3/4″ below the top frame, for 8″ overall height.
• Anchor clips: four, one at each leg, cut from 1 1/4″ × 1 1/4″ × 1/8″ aluminum angle, 3″ long, with a 7/16″ hole intended for a 3/8″ anchor.
• Custom dimensions: available on request.
• Quantities: contractor and quantity orders can be quoted.

• Outside dimensions (length × width).
• Desired overall height.
• Quantity.

We fabricate to the dimensions you provide. Engineering is not included; if your project needs an engineered support, send the engineer’s or designer’s details and we will quote to them.

What sizes are available?

Two standard sizes, both 8″ overall height: 24 7/8″ × 17″ and 24 7/8″ × 23″ outside footprint. Custom sizes can be quoted.

Can you make a custom size?

Yes. Send the outside dimensions, the height you need and the quantity, and we will quote a custom stand built to those dimensions.

What material are the stands made from?

6061-T6 aluminum, using 1 1/4″ × 1 1/4″ × 1/8″ square tube for a welded frame with four legs.

Do the stands include anchor clips?

Yes. Each standard stand has four anchor clips, one at each leg, made from 1 1/4″ × 1 1/4″ × 1/8″ aluminum angle, 3″ long, with a 7/16″ hole intended for a 3/8″ anchor.

Can contractors order multiple stands?

Yes. Contractor and quantity orders can be quoted for both standard sizes and custom sizes.
